So here is the research that I was doing a few days ago. This is a selection of logos that I thought worked really well (style + colors) and/or looked aesthetically appealing. Now the question is whether to use an engaging image and simple text OR have no image, instead using graphical text...

02: die speech bubble logo, die

So today, I started researching about different logos for the HRAFF project. While searching, I came across this amusing article about the use of speech bubbles in logo design.

"This is what happens when the perfect symbol, a symbol so good that it does all the thinking for you, gets together with a sea of designers who aren’t thinking enough."

01: boo

Took me quite a while to finally figure out how to customize this blog to my liking. Not much of a fan of blogger, plus I haven't blogged in a while now. So this shall be interesting. The banner features the 1960s English pop icon Twiggy. Anyway this is a favorite photo of mine, I also like the fact that she has been a source of inspiration for others even up to this day, changing and challenging the way in which people perceive the fashion world. Bored yet?

So anyway, this blog will contain a collection of research, visuals and whatever I stumble across that inspires me and is interesting. That's all for now.
